I’ve been in the dance world in NYC for 17 years. I’ve been cut from hundreds of auditions. I’ve been injured.  I’ve had surgeries. I’ve had directors scream “YOU SUCK!” in my face. It’s a brutal, unforgiving world. But I’ve also found beauty and strength in the support of colleagues, teachers, and non-dancers, and have tried to navigate through even the most difficult periods with as much grace as I can muster.

And now, as a coach, I’m sharing my experience with the dance world. I want to offer emotional support as well as teach skills and techniques that can help you manage the common obstacles we face. I will be leading workshops geared towards navigating challenges of the dance world, including dealing with injury, retirement, maintaining our sense of self-worth in a field that constantly tells us we’re not good enough. I want to involve as many dancers as possible, in all corners of the dance world.  Our experiences are as similar as they are diverse, and these are conversations that we need to start having on a larger scale.

Check back, as workshops dates will be announced this fall and winter. And if you have any questions, thoughts, or want to be included in my workshop mailing list, please email me!
